Why does our school need a PTA?
Our primary objective as a PTA is to provide our students with programs, resources and services that will enrich and maximize the education of each child. We’re about men and women working together towards a common goal. That goal simply stated is creating a better school and a better educational experience for our children. We strive to create an atmosphere where teachers, administrators, and support staff can do their best work and so can our children. Studies show that when parents get involved, children’s grades and test scores improve, they have fewer discipline problems, and they are more likely to continue their education beyond high school.
How does Smith PTA support Smith School?
Smith PTA supports Smith students in a variety of ways:
Birthday Book Program - Provides every Smith student with a book for their home library on their birthday. Hosts Family Skate Night
Host Chuckee Cheese Family Night, Thursday, Oct. 20th, come between 3pm and 9pm,Batavia Chuckee Cheese, Randall Road
Sponsors Fall & Spring Fundraisers
Sponsors Assemblies
Provides ISAT pencils and treats
Hosts Family Dance
Sponsors Red Ribbon Week & Spirit Week
Hosts Holiday Shop, DATES ARE DEC. 13, 14, 15TH, 2011 FOR KIDS TO SHOP AT SCHOOL!

Next PTA meeting is THURSDAY, NOV. 10TH, at 6pm, Smith School! Please come! We need your help for upcoming Holiday happenings in December!
